Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be blessed with more free content this year.
Nintendo have confirmed that there is more free content in development for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that will become available this year.
Since the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in March last year, the title has continued to go from strength to strength and it seems it has no intention of slowing down anytime soon with more updates planned to hit the game.
Nintendo also took this opportunity to announce a free update that will become available on July 29, this update will bring the addition of fireworks back to the island along with a host of other seasonal items.
Nintendo took to Twitter to say “A free update for #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons arrives on July 29. Please ensure you have updated to the latest version to enjoy the upcoming weekly Fireworks shows and new seasonal items.”
They also went on to say “In addition to these updates, more free content for #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons is currently in development for later this year. More information will be shared in the future, so please stay tuned. Thank you for your support and patience.”
Since its release the title has undergone a number of update, some larger than others, the most memorable update was the addition of ocean swimming last year.
There has also been a number of seasonal events around Christmas, New Years and Easter.
