Gamers who own the digital version of the console can breathe a sigh of relief as this issue won’t have affected their machines, however for those that own the physical edition of the PS5 it is another story.
Players have reported that on inserting a disc into the drive, a very loud sound of the disc can be heard spinning around every hour. However, this issue has no became a thing of the past as the PS5 received its first huge system update earlier this week which has seemed to fix the problem.

Although it has offered some sort of salvation for the issue, it has not rectified it completely as the sound can still be heard but on a quieter level. Players have reported that there has been a significant drop in the volume of the sound but it can still be heard.
Many players took to social media to confirm that this issue has been fixed, or at least a huge improvement on what it was before the update took place.
