Several media companies have reported over the last year that Nintendo would be planning a new third more powerful Switch console. The details and specifications of the new Switch have not been confirmed as of yet, but we should hope to expect a more powerful high def machine.

It will come as good news to avid gamer as the Switch and Switch Lite have become a very hot item, with many struggling to get hold of one of these sought after machines over the summer months.

Nintendo faced a brief halt in production of the Switch consoles this year as there was increase in the demand for the machines in April. During the Covid-19 pandemic they have also seen an unbelievable surge in the popular game Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which in turn saw its share prices sky rocket.

There is also a good chance this release will be followed by a string of new game to accompany this release. This has got fans on the edge of their seats waiting for further updates of potential new games. This release will also come with competition to other consoles as the PS5 and Xbox Series X are also set for release very soon.
