Rockstar Games has managed to keep a tight lid on any official information about the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. Fans are eagerly waiting for updates on the game, which is expected to feature one of the largest open-world environments ever seen in a video game. With Rockstar’s silence, even the tiniest hints or rumours are causing a stir within the community.
Recently, a leak surfaced from a developer at Rockstar India. The leak, which has since been removed from LinkedIn, revealed that the developer had worked on various assets for the new GTA game. Among these assets were “interior prop labels,” including familiar items like the fire extinguisher, electric board, boat motor, and car engine. However, the most exciting discovery was the mention of the chainsaw, a beloved melee weapon from previous installments like GTA: San Andreas and GTA: Vice City. This revelation has sparked a wave of enthusiasm among fans, hinting at the chainsaw’s return in GTA 6.
Although Rockstar has yet to confirm these findings, they align with other rumors circulating about the game. Speculation suggests that GTA 6 will bring back iconic locations like Vice City, intertwining the best elements from previous GTA titles while introducing fresh features and activities to explore. The prospect of revisiting beloved settings and experiencing new adventures has fans eagerly awaiting the game’s release.
Interestingly, fans are not only fixated on GTA 6 but also hoping for a remake of Grand Theft Auto 4. Teasers from Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, have fuelled speculation about an upcoming GTA IV remake.
While the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 remains distant, when it finally arrives, it will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, catering to a wide range of gamers across different platforms.
