A recent leak has unveiled an exciting new collaboration between the popular battle royale game Fortnite and the critically acclaimed Netflix series Stranger Things. This partnership marks a return to a collaboration that first delighted fans back in 2019.
The 2019 crossover saw the introduction of character skins for Chief Hopper and the Demogorgon, characters from the Stranger Things universe, into Fortnite’s expansive world. Building on this successful integration, the new collaboration is set to take the experience to a whole new level.
The highlight of this new partnership is the introduction of Eleven, the beloved character portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown, as the latest character skin in Fortnite. Players will be treated to three distinct versions of Eleven’s skin, reflecting her dynamic character evolution in the series. One skin will feature Eleven’s look from Season 3, while the other two offer variants of her iconic short-haired appearance from the Hawkins lab scenes.
In addition to the skin, fans can look forward to a unique emote and a piece of Back Bling, adding further depth to the Stranger Things experience within Fortnite.
While Eleven is the star addition, the crossover doesn’t stop there. The leak, courtesy of well-known leaker iFireMonkey, also reveals the introduction of two themed pickaxes – one modeled after Steve Harrington’s bat and the other after Eddie Munson’s spear. Complementing these are Back Bling items, including a diorama of Hopper’s cabin and, in a nod to one of the show’s memorable elements, a waffle.
The Fortnite and Stranger Things collaboration is more than just a gaming update; it’s a celebration of pop culture, blending the thrill of gaming with the excitement of one of the most popular TV series. As fans eagerly await the release of these new features, the gaming world buzzes with anticipation, ready to embrace the Upside Down in Fortnite’s ever-expanding universe.
