Fans are waiting in anticipation as a new Call of Duty Zombies map is on the horizon, here is everything we know so far about Mauer Der Toten.
Treyarch has revealed that there is a brand new Zombies map fast approaching Black Ops Cold War which will continue on with the Dark Aether storyline.
It has been confirmed that this map will take players back to the classic structure of the title rather than adding to the continuing Outbreak.
Although there is not a great deal of details released for the new Zombies map, Mauer Der Toten, here is everything we know so far.
The map itself will launch July 14, 9pm PT and July 15, 12am ET in the Season 4 Reloaded which will be free to all players, you will be able to jump straight in and grab a slice of the action as soon as the midseason patch is installed.
For those players who have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the new Main Quest Hunt, it will kick off on July 15 at 10am PT/1PM ET.
A full gameplay trailer was released on July 8 which consisted of two full minutes of official gameplay ahead of Mauer Der Toten’s release.
The trailer showed off a series of brand new weapons, locations and enemies that players will be able to experience.
According to the trailer, it seems that a series of new weapons are headed to the game with Mauer Der Toten, this was revealed in a series of new Blueprints on July 6.
The first of the weapons that was teased is the LT53 Kazimir blueprint which looked to be a new portal device which was later revealed in the trailer. This is a weapon that players are able to craft which will give them the ability to teleport to different locations on the map.
The second weapon is the CRBR-S Wonder Weapon, this is a special weapon that begins as a fully automatic handgun, however after upgrading the new weapon it seems that a series of different boosts can be applied.
One of these looks as if it will transform the gun into a burst weapon, while we see another changing it into a sniper.
There also seems to be a classic Zombies perk that is returning to the game after three long years, this was teased in a celebration Tweet from Treyarch on July 4.
The Tweet read “Crack open a cold one this holiday weekend”.
The post also featured an image of the Mule Kick Soda can which was a favourite perk amongst fans in the past back in Black Ops 4.
The Mule Kick perk gave players the ability to carry three weapons at any given time, this means that a full team could be ready and prepared at all times.
This is everything we know about the upcoming map, but in the meantime be sure to check back for the latest news and updates here at Gamerficial.
