Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans have been waiting patiently for the release of a new Zombies map and now it seems we have a release window when we can expect it to launch.
There has finally been a release window revealed for the upcoming new Zombies map for Black Ops Cold War, this new map will also serve as the finale in the Zombies series.
As the Season 5 patch notes for Black Ops have finally dropped, the mid-season patch has given some serious clues as to what we can expect to drop in the near future.
Upcoming content includes a brand new Cold War game mode and map along with a huge selection of content for Zombies.
Players have a new Onslaught map to look forward too along with a brand new Outbreak region, that means there will be new modes coming to both Outbreak and Onslaught.
Treyarch have now confirmed a release window for the new Zombies map which will be round-based, the map will also be the final instalment in the Zombies saga.
In a recent Call of Duty blog post, Treyarch revealed that “As development continues on the finale of the Black Ops Cold War Zombies saga in next season’s round-based map, we’ve packed Season Five Reloaded with new ways to play…”
This gives us some indication that we may see the new Zombies map to launch in Season 6 which we could see launch in early October.
It makes sense to wrap up Cold War Zombies in October as Zombies will be making its way over to Call of Duty: Vanguard when it releases in November.
As of yet, there is no way to tell exactly what is in store for players in this final map, however it won’t be too much longer until we find out.
