Pro Perks first made their appearance in the Call of Duty franchise well over 10 years ago with Modern Warfare 2 in 2009, and now a new leak suggests they could be returning in the 2022 reboot of the Modern Warfare series.
It has already been confirmed that this years Call of Duty title will be Modern Warfare 2, a game with the same name as the most popular Call of Duty game in history. The games name might not just be the only thing they share.

According to well known leaker Tom Henderson, Warzone 2 will bring back a series of fan favorite features to the game and it looks as if Pro Perks are going to be one of those.

Henderson said “Pro Perks are obtainable by looting Strongholds [guarded locations with objectives within] and although some Pro Perks were on pre-determined classes during the recent Warzone 2 playtests, it’s not entirely clear whether or not Pro Perks will be able to be used on your Loadout as you might need to loot and use them in order to get an extra edge.”
Could this mean that Pro Perks will be lootable items instead of being loadout options? This would definitely bring a fresh feel to the game and lead us down a different path from the current Warzone title.
