Modern Warfare 2: Release Date, Weapons And More Leaked

Despite the roadmap for Season 3 of Vanguard and Warzone dropping, it seems that players are already looking towards this years upcoming release which is expected to be Modern Warfare 2.

Now it seems that a lot more leaks are coming out of the cracks with claims about this years instalment in the series, a reveal date has been thrown into the mix along with some of the games key weapons.

‘TheGhostOfHope’ took to Twitter with a teaser and a caption reading simply ‘May 30th’ suggesting the game will be revealed on this date.

Another post from the leaker suggested that two fan-favourite weapons will be making a return in the upcoming title, both the ACR and the Intervention are claimed to return.

It was also noted that the Intervention was initially supposed to be included in 2019’s Modern Warfare but was since replaced with the AX-50.

The leaker also mentioned in another Tweet that Modern Warfare 2 would feature weapons with a five-attachment max system again.

Of course, we must take this information with a pinch of salt until an official anoucenment is made.
