Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Could Release Later This Year

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiApril 29, 2021

According to an insider, Activision are planning on releasing a remaster of the fan favourite Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer later this year.

Fans have been wondering for quite some time just where the Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer had gotten too after the much loved game’s single player campaign was launched last year.

However, at the time of release Activision explained that as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone currently out and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the pipeline, they felt that to ass a fourth multiplayer option wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense.

According to a new rumour it seems that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Remastered could soon be on the way and release sooner than we think. It has been suggested that it will be launching later than this year and could be replacing the release of the expect 2021 title Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Leaks from insider Tom Henderson have suggested that the 2021 Call of Duty title may have run into a few issues and could be ‘held back’.

He has also went on to brand the upcoming title as a ‘disaster’.

Vanguard… To put it simply, is a fucking disaster.

But more on that at a later time. https://t.co/YBgK69IPh6

An array of leaks from other industry insiders have also claimed that Call of Duty: Vanguard may have run into a bit of trouble, however as with every leak we must take this information with a pinch of salt.

Nothing has yet been officially confirmed so players will have to hang on to see what is in store for the future of Call of Duty.
