Leak Suggests MW2 Killstreaks Are Coming To Warzone

A new Call of Duty Vanguard leak suggests that a Modern Warfare 2 killstreak could make an appearance in the Warzone reveal.

Countless leaks and rumours have speculated that this years Call of Duty entry will be transporting layers back to World War 2, although details on the titles reveal are still unclear.

It is expected for the Vanguard reveal to take place inside a Call of Duty: Warzone event, similarly to what we have seen in the past with Black Ops Cold War.

We saw Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was revealed soon after its release, Verdansk was also transported back in time due to its integration with Cold War.

Warzone players saw a number of in-game events take place that revealed a nuclear strike and other features throughout the game.

Now, fans are expecting Vanguard to follow suit and are remaining eagle eyed for any potential in-game teasers.

Currently, Activision have no officially revealed anything, although well known leaker ‘Alaix COD’ has shared an intriguing audio clip that teases what we could expect to see in the future.

Alaix took to Twitter to share the clip with fans, the post read “The only hint for the event :)”

A commander call from MW2 which is sounding the alarm for an incoming AC-130 assault can be heard in the share audio clip.

Fans will remember this classic killstreak from MW2, this has left many thinking that a gunship will be included in Vanguard’s reveal.

Even though there isn’t a great deal of information on offer at the moment, fans are expecting to see the title in a World War 2 setting, along with getting another map makeover.

The post was met with comments from fans who are curious as to how the story will connect with the integration of Vanguard.

Of course we must take this information with a pinch of salt as nothing is yet officialy confirmed.
