A full remake of Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is currently in development.
Fans had been curious for quite some time as to whether Konami would remake the original title and now it seems their questions have been answers as the publisher is rumoured to have partnered up with an outside studio.
This information comes via VGC, as a number of sources that recently spoke with them, Konami has reportedly been looking for new ways to revive some of their oldest and biggest franchises.
It has been reported that Konami is working on the project with Virtuous who has supported AAA companies in previous years.
Now, Zhiyang Li, the lead software engineer at Virtuous seems to be working on the title according to their LinkedIn profile.
Li states that this remake will be an AAA action-adventure title in his profile description, although nothing is actually directly linked to Metal Gear Solid 3.
Li also mentions in his profile that the game will feature 4K support, it is also possible that the remake may include a number of destructible dynamic environments.
Although, the possibility of this information being about Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is high as the earlier reports coincides with Li’s information.
This new leak only strengthens previous rumours we have heard regarding the remake, of course though we must take these details with a pinch of salt as nothing has yet been confirmed.
