Konami recently released an apology for the issues players were experiencing with eFootball slowly after its launch.
The official eFootball Twitter account took to the platform with a post apologising to fans, the post read “After the release of “eFootball 2022″, we have received lots of feedback and requests regarding game balance that included pass speed and defence operation.”
“We would also like to acknowledge that there have been reports of problems users have experienced with cut-scenes, facial expressions, movements of players and the behaviour of the ball.”
“We are very sorry for the problems, and want to assure everyone we will take all concerns seriously and strive to improve the current situation”.
“This work will be continuously updated, quality will be improved and content will be added consistently. From next week onward, we will prepare for an update in October, while receiving further opinions through questionnaires to our users”.
Since the games launch, players have flocked to social media with a host of negative comments regarding how broken the game is.
Many of these comments included how poor the characters facial appearances were, Reddit user ‘Livid_Peach’ took to the platform with an example.
The post read “Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, its the referee in eFootball”.
The clip shows the the referee in the game appearing to float around the pitch, the post was soon met with a host of comments from other players who had also experiences similar issues.
