Killing Floor 2’s New Insanity Event Is Taking Players To The Moon

There has been a new event revealed for Killing Floor 2 by Tripwire Interactive which will be names Interstellar Insanity.

The latest seasonal event for Killing Floor 2 is named Interstellar Insanity and allowing players to take their zed killing all the way to the moon.

All players are able to access the new Moonbase Map which features low gravity, along with the new map there has also been two brand new weapons added.

First of the new weapons that have been added is the HRG Bastion for the SWAT class, players are able to use this LMG as an energy shield in order to protect the wielder when they are firing at zeds.

The second being the HRG Blast Brawlers for the support class, these are infused with energy and can easily be used to smash your way through enemies.

There is also a weapon bundle that is available for purchase which adds a further two weapons, the first being the master key for the Commando and support players.

The second weapon included in the bundle is the thermite bore launcher which is for the firebug perk.

There are also new astronaut cosmetics included in the event along with two brand new game modes and returning summer sideshows zeds.

The new game modes that are included are arachnophobia and scavenger which have now became part of the weekly rotation.

Killing Floor 2 is also featured in Steam’s summer showcase and you can currently get your hands on it at a whopping 75% off.
