Japan has taken the leap to the future as it opens its first even eSports gym where players are able to receive coaching from professional gamers.
Tokyo will soon be the host of its very first eSports gym, it will be a space where gamers of all abilities will be able to receive coaching from professionals.
The gaming space opened May 19th, the ‘eSports Gym’ includes a lounge along with gaming PCs packed with Japan’s most famous games. They are said to feature a host of popular games such as League of Legends and Valorant.
Players have the chance to book up yo a 3 hour slot at one of the gaming PC’s which will set them back around $13. There will also be monthly memberships on offer for players too, this will start at $50 per month, to add professional coaching sessions this will cost players an additional $25 for each hour.
As well as in-person coaching, players will also be able to receive coaching online from a series of professional coaching from Crest Gaming along with Glory Be Esports.
It has been said that China is also on board with investing in the eSports market, Shanghai started the process of building a 5.3 million square foot esports arena back in January.
