Invader Studios have recently announced the prequel to their hit horror game Daymare 1998.
Invader Studios released Daymare 1998 back in 2019, the Resident Evil inspired game managed to drum up a lot of attention for the games mechanics, zombies and third person shooting.
Recently, it was announced the series second title Daymare 1994: Sandcastle is due to release in 2022 and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
A trailer for the upcoming title has dropped along with further details of the game on Steam, information confirms that the title will be jammed full with terrifying monsters for players to face.
Daymare 1994: Sandcastle is set to be a prequel to the first game and will see players take on the role of Dalila Reyes, an employee of a private military corporation known as HADES.
The upcoming title will focus on players entering the “most advanced experimental research center in the United States of America” with plenty of horrifying creatures for places to face and battle.
The information on Steam teases that Daymare 1994 will give players insight into the characters from the first title and how they came to be in the story of Daymare 1998.
The trailer shows off the same atmosphere at the first title and depicts an orb coming from a zombie corpse, it is shown as the orb travels it pulls electricity from various cables in the lab.
