As Saints Row slowly gets ready for it’s release February 2022, developer Volition has shown off several fan favourite features from the original games, including the ragdoll mini-game “Insurance Fraud” and the Let’s Pretend stores. They also revealed the Santo Ileso map.
The first time we got an Insurance Fraud mission was all the way back in 2006 with the original Saints Row game. The idea behind the game is that you throw your character into traffic bouncing off cars like a pinball to create as much damage as possible and gaining points for it.
Insurance Fraud is a silly bit of fun to take a break from the regular gameplay, and a mini-game that has featured in every Saints Row since. So fans will be pleased to know it’s back in the Saints Row reboot.
The gameplay was shown in the Criminal Ventures trailer:
The video showcases the side mission you can expect to see in the game, Insurance Fraud isn’t the only one though. Players can set up multiple side businesses which open up extra side missions and access to new revenue streams and items. There’s a total of 15 Criminal Ventures to find around Santo Ileso.
