Assassin’s Creed fans are always hungry for the next instalment in the series and where it will take us next, an insider claims that the 2022 title could be set in the Hundred Years War.
Assassin’s Creed has cast a wide net over the years taking us many places with each title in the Ubisoft franchise, but just what can we expect to see next?
Fans are already asking just what we could expect to see in the next instalment in the series, but thanks to an insider leak we might not have to look much further.
It was already rumoured that the 2022 Assassin’s Creed could be set in a medieval China, however this has since been discredited by a popular leaker as they have claimed that the next game will have a completely different setting.

YouTuber “xj0nathan” who is a well known Assassin’s Creed leaker took to the platform to share a video featuring a host of cryptic messages in the form of symbols for fans to try and decipher.
He then took the time to delve deeper into rumours that have been circulating recently regarding the next title. Eagle eyed fans managed to decode some of the messages featured in the video, for example many were quick to notice a Templar Cross and binary code that translates to 2022.

Viewers also seemed to notice another GPS clue that suggested coordinated located in Croatia, Germany and Dubrovnik.
All of the clues fans noticed all seemed to have one thing in common, they all pointed towards the Hundred Years’ War. For those who aren’t aware, the war took place in Western Europe between England and France between 1337 and 1453.

This is one in a long line of several other rumours that suggest the next Assassin’s Creed instalment will take place in medieval Europe. We witnessed multiple rumours in the early part of this year claiming that the new title would be named Assassin’s Creed Champions.
These leaks also suggest that the title will be announced later this year with a release date planned for next year. Could it be that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla end up leading us to medieval Europe?
