Rockstar Games have remained tight lipped on the games development leaving fans in the dark, with many feeling they have no choice but to listen to leaks and rumours for information on what the game may entail.
So far the only thing we know is that the game will be of a moderate size, however this isn’t too much to go from considering the scale of Rockstar’s games. The goal of GTA 6 is to first launch the game itself then continue to offer support by fuelling the game over time with a string of regular updates.
So, the potential of the game is vast and could possibly be set on a large scale however this might not be the case from launch, with rumours still running strong a host of speculation hit the internet initially suggesting the game would be set in the 1980’s.
It was also claimed that the game would then make its way through each decade while being divided into chapters and eventually finishing up in modern day, however this would require an incredible amount of work but could be the reason why not much has came to light so far about the games development.
However, this claim was thrown on its head when well known leaker Tom Henderson took to Twitter in reply to a fans question, he stated “It’s not set in the 1980’s and is modern”.
