Rockstar Games will be releasing remastered versions of GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA 3.
This information first appeared on GTA forums, posted by user ‘Mach1Bug’ in a response to a fan question.
The response stated “All 3 are gonna be remakes. Ya gotta remember that they have a solid amount of the content already created in Gtao. Like many of the cars.”
Mach1Bug also stated that these remakes would be created using the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine, this is the engine that was used to develop GTA Online along with GTA V.
“I suspect they will announce while the GTAO Tuners Update is fresh in everyone’s mind and a lot more eyes are on R*.”
Many were questioning a release date for these remakes however Mach1Bug responded by saying “Id say a good month is this month if they want to get a good advertising run up to release for the GTA III anniversary.”
It was also noted that these remakes will be looking much better than what we have seen in GTA V although it seems they won’t reach Red Dead Redemption 2 level.
Mach1Bud has since said that this information is all speculation so we must be sure to take these rumours with a pinch of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet.
Although, this isn’t the first time rumours have surfaced suggesting tat these three titles would be remade, speculation surrounding this came to light a few months back too.
San Andreas, Vice City and GTA 3 have all proved to be incredibly popular titles, so it is no doubt that players would enjoy seeing these titles remade.
There is nothing left for fans to do but wait and hope an announcement comes confirmed these titles.
