Rumours have been circulating regarding a potential Grand Theft Auto trilogy remaster, if this proves to be a success there is a good chance we could see a Red Dead Redemption remaster.
A number of several news outlets reported on Kotaku’s discovery of a potential Grand Theft Auto trilogy remaster, although it seems that something important was overlooked in the main report.
Kotaku had mentioned that the alleged GTA trilogy was planned to hit later this year, however also noted that a Red Dead Redemption remaster could also potentially feature in Rockstar Games’ future.
However it seems that the release of a Red Dead Redemption remaster will depend on the success of the GTA trilogy remaster.
“For fans who are more interested in other classic Rockstar games getting remastered and rereleased, sources tell me that Rockstar has plans to develop new ports of games like Red Dead Redemption. But the future of these remastered games depends on how well these initial re-releases sell.”
It could be assumed that a Red Dead Remaster would be just as popular as the alleged upcoming GTA trilogy.
The game shot from strength to strength since its release back in 2010 and it is still just as popular to day with a loyal fanbase.
The game could prove to be an ever bigger success if it was to be remastered and boast some new and juicy graphics.
Of course, this is all speculation at the moment so we must take this information with a pinch of salt.
Fans will just have to wait it out until there is an official announcement, in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
