Dataminers have found an audio file from Halo Infinite’s closed Technical Preview which could reveal a battle royale mode.

Halo Infinite is currently undergoing its first pre-launch closed test, the Technical Preview.
The scope of the preview is extremely limited and only includes tutorial weapon drills and a playlist of a 5v5 Bot Arena matches.
Although now it seems that fans are digging deeper in order to find more content that will be arriving once the game is officially launched and it appears that an audio clip saying “Battle Royale” has been discovered.
The said audio clip has been recorded by Jeff Steitzer who is known for doing all of Halo’s voicework for multiplayer.
The clip in question simple says “Battle Royale” with nothing else to follow, and now fans are thinking these could be leading to something more exciting.

Despite a battle royale mode for the game not officially being announced, could these audio clip be an indication that one is destined to make an appearance in the game.
This addition would make sense as Steitzer’s past roles in the Halo series has included all of the online multiplayer modes, so this would be a perfect fit.
However, just because this file has been located doesn’t mean that this will definitely be the case, this could be present for a number of other reasons.
Could we be seeing a battle royale mode in Halo Infinite when it launches?
