Fans worldwide have been eagerly scouring the internet for clues of just when we could be a seeing a GTA 6 release, but with nothing set in stone, fans have nothing to go by except the likes of rumours and leaks.
The rumours and leaks have been coming in thick and fast with lots of speculation surround a potential release date for the game, whereas some of the latest leaks have pointed towards remakes of some of the past classic games actually being in development.
Leaks have suggested that we could see remakes of Vice City, GTA III and San Andreas could be on the cards to let players see these locations in a whole new light.
The games publisher Take-Two have finally addressed the rumours of a potential remake in an earnings call on February 8th. The CEO of Take-Two had this to say “It’s a great and encouraging question. I’m kind of inclined to leave it more as a statement than a question. And any updates on our release schedule will come from Rockstar Games.”
However, he didn’t go into any further details of it would be something we may see or not, he then went on to answers a host of other questions and left the rest to the imagination.
We are sure that if the remakes were to become a reality, that they would be incredibly popular with both fans who have played the games before and also those who have not. However, until then fans will have to hang on and hope that Rockstar make the decision to create these fan favourite remakes.
