The Grand Theft Auto series has proved to be one of the most successful titles in the past 20 years despite not seeing a new instalment in the series in over a decade.
Although Rockstar Games have confirmed that GTA 6 is currently in development, the studio have remained incredibly tight lipped on anything further details regarding the title.
Fans have been left with no choice but to rely on speculation and leaks for their fix on information on the upcoming game.
The latest information comes from well known leaker, Tom Henderson who has revealed that the development of the title has not been the smooth sailing we had all hoped for.

Henderson took to Twitter to share news with fans of the game’s troubled development, the post read “I’m assuming this dates back to my original report over a year ago, I have not had any updates on such features since and I would definitely treat this with a grain of salt. It’s just a rumor from a game in very turbulent development.”
He also followed up by saying “I still believe the game is releasing in 2024-2025. I’m referring to turbulent because it hasn’t been plain sailing just like with every other game in development during COVID etc. People leaving and what-not.”

He mentioned that COVID has had a huge impact on the video game, like many other titles over the past 2 years, he also went on to say that he thinks the game will not be complete until at least 2024-2025.
