GTA 6 Insider Reveals Title Will Have New Engine And Graphics

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiApril 23, 2022

Yet another GTA 6 rumours has surfaced, this time claiming that the next instalment in the franchise will include better graphics than we have ever seen before.

Up to now, Rockstar Games have remained tight lipped on the upcoming title, apart from confirmation that GTA 6 was “well underway” not much else about the game has been revealed.

Although, this hasn’t stopped rumours and leaks going strong and the latest comes from Rockstar Mag’s Chris Klippel who mentioned that the game will be featuring an incredible graphics engine.

Klippel took to Twitter to share the news, the post translated reads “Obviously, the new version of the graphics engine of #RockstarGames (RAGE9) which will be used for #GTA6 is likely to be quite incredible. I was able to get very positive feedback, we really shouldn’t be disappointed on this point. We are talking about an engine ahead of its time.”

Klippel claims that the new engine for GTA 6 will be RAGE9, this will be far superior to anything we have seen previously should this prove to be correct.

He also went on to say “I don’t want to go too far, because I only had echoes, and I couldn’t see it with my eyes. But apparently the goal is to outperform the Unreal Engine. They are capable of it, we will see if they can do it :)”

Of course, we must take this information with a pinch of salt for now as it is merely speculation and nothing has yet been confirmed.
