One fan has came up with a giant GTA map made up of every major city from the series and it’s rather impressive.
Grand Theft Auto fans have been waiting for news on GTA 6 for some time now, and it looks like we shouldn’t expect it anytime soon.
Rockstar Games have remained tight lipped on GTA 6, however with Grand Theft Auto V on it was to PS5 and Xbox Series X it looks as if they have their hans full at the moment.
However, this hasn’t stopped fans discussing and coming up with ideas of what the next instalment in the series may include.
Reddit user ‘megahurst’ took to the platform with a concept map made up of all the major Grand Theft Auto cities resulting in one mega open world.
The post read “Imagine Garbage Truck Drop Offs…”
Realistically speaking, would the game even work with a map of this size? The length of time it would take to travel from one side to another would be enormous, which leaves us wondering, would it be worth it?
The post was soon flooded with a host of upvotes and comments from other users, some in agreement that a colossal map like this should debut in the game, while others said it was just too big.
One user wrote “And trains as well, imagine being able to take an AFK train ride. And by train ride i don’t mean like just jumping on a train, i mean buying a ticket from a station and actually sit inside a train and either stay afk for a while or browse the in game internet (which should have a lot more features in the next game).”
Another said “Map expansions would be the best of both worlds. Keep the map you know and love, get a new map. I’d even be okay if they straight up had two maps and you had to pick if you want to be in a Los Santos lobby or another city lobby”.
A third said ” Its takes me 5 mins to drive to paleto from the city. This map would take me an hour”.
It’s unlikely we would see a map of this size in the upcoming game, however if it ever did, we would never be short of things to do.
