The Grand Theft Auto franchise has proved to be incredibly popular over the years, however it could be that GTA 6 will be the last instalment for the series.

Over the years Grand Theft Auto has continued to shoot from strength to strength, however it seems that the popular franchise may be coming to an end.
Fans have been waiting patiently for an announcement regarding the sought after GTA 6 title, although it seems likely that this title could be the last in the series.
Up to now Rockstar Games have remained tight lipped on the existence of the title, fans have had no choice but to rely on leaks and rumours regarding the next GTA title for information.

Well know leaker Tom Henderson has claimed that a GTA 6 title will not be released until at least 2025 due to Rockstar looking out for the welfare of their employees.
Henderson has already mentioned that money is no issue for the company, but aside from this the company won’t have much reason to continue releasing titles in the franchise beyond the sixth entry.

GTA Online is as popular as ever and will keep the hype continuing for years to come, it looks as if GTA 6 was done more for the fans and because the company wanted to rather than in an attempt to drive sales.
It’s likely we won’t see GTA 6 for quite some time, as Henderson says it could be under wraps for a few more years.
