Gotham Knights was initially announced by Warner Bros. Montreal way back in 2020 during the DC Fandome event which left fans excited for its release.
The title was scheduled to launch in 2021, however it was since delayed to release later this year in October.
When the game was initially delayed the devs said “We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players. Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months”.

It was unclear just which platforms the game would be coming too, it was originally thought that the title would release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows.
However, despite Xbox One and PS4 still remaining on the official website and release platforms, Gotham Knights has recently received its age rating and it seems to only be for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
While this has caused some concern for PS4 and Xbox One users, further information on the game remains minimal, so it looks as if we will have to wait this one out until an official announcement is made.
