Forza Motorsport 7 is coming to an end and Microsoft plans to move the title to end of life status next month.
Microsoft will be removing Forza Motorsport 7 and all its connected DLC from ever online storefront where it its currently featured.
The title will also be removed from the Xbox Game Pass service, which will leave gamers unable to bu the game or any content digitally, although if a player already has purchased the game they will still be able to download it.
Players have bought add-on DLC purchases, yet have not purchased the base game itself due to it being available on Game pass.
These players will be offered tokens from Microsoft until August 2nd which will allow them to continue enjoying their DLC purchases.
Only players that have previously bought the DLC prior to this announcement will be eligible for these tokens.
The titles services will remain accessible to players when the game is no longer available to purchase, this will be inclusive of online modes and multiplayer.
Microsoft have also revealed that they will be happy to continue supporting Forza Motorsport 7 related esports and Rivals events.
Fans have been left shocked by this decision as FM7 is the latest entry in the Motorsport series, however the next instalment which in simply known as Forza Motorsport is still in the development stages.
Players shouldn’t hold out to see the new title release this year, perhaps we will see a release in 2022.
