There is still some time before the title is due to release, but according to industry insiders there is already a list of locations which the game won’t be set in.
Industry insiders have been hinting at a a series of potential locations that could feature in the game along with some that definitely won’t make the cut, although Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games are yet to confirm if there even is a Forza Horizon 5 in the works.

As the title is yet to be confirmed, so it the location however discussions on Twitter between Jeff Grubb from Venture Beat and inside Klobrille seem to suggest that the game definitely will not be set in Japan.
Invites for the next instalment Forza Motorsport are currently being distributed to Xbox insiders which could suggest a pending announcement. A series insiders have already been dropping hints and teasers on the location of Forza Horizon although all we know from Jeff Grubb and Klobrille is that it won’t be in Japan.

Rumours that have previously circulated have claimed that the upcoming Forza Horizon 5 is to be set in Asia and that the title will launch before Forza Motorsport despite the latter already being confirmed.
It is suggested that Forza Horizon 5 will be launching later this year although as of yet there is no detailed timeline on when this may happen. If this release was to follow suit, Forza Horizon games usually launch around September so we may see something around then.

Of course, with all rumours we must take this information with a pinch of salt, hopefully fans won’t need to wait much longer to find out the much anticipated locarion.
