Red Dead Online fans have not seen a new update since July of 2021 and tensions seem to be at an all time high as players are taking to social media to vent their frustrations. Fans are becoming increasingly upset with the lack of new content, so much so they have started an online campaign in hopes a major update will follow.
The hashtag #SaveRedDeadOnline started trending recently on Twitter as RDO players were taking to the platform to share their disappointments.
The last major update was Blood Money which dropped on July 13 of last year, although this update saw the addition of some missions and new currency, it could not be compared to the calibre of updates received by GTA Online.
This has evidently rubbed fans up the wrong way as they feel one Rockstar game is more loved than the other, respectively leaving RDO behind in the dust.
The cherry on top the cake for fans had to be earlier in January when Rockstar revealed a month-long event would be taking place in Red Dead Online, however no new content would be added. Instead players will see an increase on pay outs for old activities and missions, this then sparked the online movement from players to #SaveRedDeadOnline.
The hashtag is continuing to trend on Twitter even days later as players continue to take to the platform to share their concerns for the game.
Hopefully, this will spark something with Rockstar Games to bring something fresh to the game to help mix things up and keep fans happy.
