As this years Call of Duty release draws closer, fans are eager to know more information on the upcoming title, however it seems that a recent leak has left fans with divided opinions.
Fans are expecting to see some weapons from past Call of Duty titles make an appearance in this years Modern Warfare 2, thanks to a recent leak we may have some insight into what we can expect to see when the game finally launches.
A number of well known leakers have revealed that we can expect to see the MP5K, ACR, UMP45, SPAS-12, Intervention, Beretta, Browning BLR and the Combat Knife all appear in Modern Warfare 2.
Now claims suggest that we could also be seeing the LACH-9 joining the pack which is very similarly designed to the MP5.
This has been one of the most popular weapons across Warzone, Black Ops Cold War and MW 2019.
It seems that some fans are less than impressed with this information and are unhappy with the amount of content that is seemingly being pulled from other titles.
This has left players wondering if the new title will lack originality and will be too similar to what we have seen before.
However some fans seemed to support the idea, one user wrote “It’s a modern game, and a sequel to a game, almost every gun will be re-used whether from MW2 or MW2019. Get over it. They can’t just make new guns as they did with jetpacks because then you guys complain that ‘it’s not realistic”.
Of course we must take this information with a pinch of salt as nothing has yet been confirmed, but in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
