Epic Games have collected a rather impressive amount of exclusive titles which amount to over $1 billion.
Since September of 2019, Epic Games has managed to secure 105 exclusive titles to be available in the Epic Game Store.
The acquisition of said titles has set them back just over $1 billion, the information was revealed in a leaked document from the Epic Games vs. Apple courtcase.
The ‘Review of Performance and Strategy’ document from 2019 which has now been made public shows that Epic spent $444 million on exclusives launches that took place in 2019.
However, it also confirms that a further $542 million was spent on 2019 launch exclusive whereas as of September 29 they had also spent a hearty $52 million already on the securing of four major exclusives for 2021.
This is an incredible number of exclusives and a huge amount spent, it is noticeably much larger than the $11 million that was spent offering free games between December of 2018 and September of 2018.
