It has been said that EA is currently working on a revival of a ‘established IP’, which claims to “make fans happy”, could this be the return of Dead Space we have all been waiting for?
The information comes from GamesBeat’s Jeff Grubb as he discussed recent gaming events and news while also delving into this years E3 event.
Grubb said that EA Motive’s game would bee a revival of an ‘established IP’ and that fans would be pleased to see this eventually happen.
It was pretty clear that the title he was referring too was fan-favourite title Dead Space, it would make sense for this to be the title is question as fans have been begging for a remaster of the game for quite some time now.
Motive’s general manager, Patrick Klaus said in a recent interview that “we’re also working on several unannounced projects. Innovation is tough, but it’s also exciting and energizing. With our new mission, we’re trying a lot of things and testing many ideas which you can’t get attached to, as iteration and experimentation are healthy and a key to finding something great.”

Star Wars: Squadrons was previously worked on by EA Motive, they also collaborated up with DICE to work on the Star Wars Battlefront 2 title. So, to create a remaster for Dead Space would be stepping away from what they’re used to although not totally out of the question.
Of course we must take this with a pinch of salt, with nothing confirmed at the moment there is no way to tell if this will happen or when we could expect it.
