Now the team have managed to get themselves the license to make a brand new title for the series which will be named, The Lord Of The Rings: Heroes Of Middle-Earth.

EA have described the title as a “collectible role-playing game” along with a “strategic, social-competitive experience”. It is likely that the title will be created with a heavy focus on multiplayer and may possibly be free-to-play.
The title will also include a host of iconic characters from the franchise, from what we have heard so far, it seems that the game will be focussing more on the original books rather than what we have seen in the movies.
Currently, there has been no gameplay footage or trailers revealed although a beta version is likely to launch later this year.
