Former Daggerfall developers have revealed a teaser for their huge upcoming open-world RPG.

OnceLostGames have recently revealed a brand new teaser trailer for their upcoming open-world RPG The Wayward Realms.
OnceLostGames have said they are planning on creating a ” new open-world fantasy RPG where choice, consequence, scope and role-playing will be experienced like never before in a realistically-scaled open world in a new class of game: The Grand RPG.”

The trailer gives players a glimpse into what they can expect from the upcoming title, there was a knight riding on a white horse shown in the trailer going after a small ball of light located in a gloomy forest.
The horse then rode into a grand vista to really give players a taste of the open worlds scale.

The title looks as though it will also be full of spider, every arachnophobia’s dream!
There has also been a Steam store page revealed alongside the trailer for The Wayward Realms, they go into detail as they explain how the game takes place across “one hundred, realistically scaled, islands, known collectively as the Archipelago”.

The description referenced a series of dungeons, competing factions along with a virtual game master who reacts to the players decisions.
They also mentioned “customized skills and abilities to craft your own spells, potions, and enchantments” which will give players the opportunity to create custom spells similarly to what we have seen previously in Daggerfall, Oblivion and Morrowind.

However, this feature was left out of Skyrim so it would be interesting so the feature make a comeback in the successor to the early Scrolls series.
OnceLost Games took to Twitter to request some feedback from fans. The post read “Daggerfall was home to thousands of cities and towns something which we are aiming to replicate with WR. Daggerfall tended to lack variety though, which we plan to improve this time around. So let us ask you this: What is your favorite city in a videogame and why?”
