Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software have said they will be investigation other ‘fair’ and ‘reactable’ counter play options to Dead Silence.

Dead Silence has always been a controversial topic, the field upgrade gives players the ability to move around in the game without others hearing their footsteps along with giving them a better range of motion.
The best way to take our your enemies is to approach them without them even knowing, so using this field upgrade sets players up for success as they are able to sneak up upon their enemies silently.

A number of players however, have been quick to report that Dead Silence is too powerful, and where other field upgrades have a down side this particular one doesn’t seem to have one.
For example, Stopping Power has the addition of recoil in order to balance out its damage boost.

Among other complaints, players are also saying that this particular field upgrade is too commonly found in the game, allowing it to cause havoc as the majority of players can use this to easily eliminate their enemies.
It is unclear what these counterplay options will be as of yet, however it shouldn’t be too much longer until we find out.
