A rather impressive record has been set by a Black Ops Cold War Zombies player as they reach round 1000 live on stream.
Zombie fans can put a serious amount of work into Outbreak with its intense and time consuming gameplay, it can take quite some time to grind your way through the rounds.
In order to get far in the game, players need to equip themselves with a series of smart tactics and strategies to successfully make it through and navigate the undead and it seems that one player has taken things to a new level entirely.
Call of Duty fan, InsomniaVirus took on the challenge of setting an impressive new record. The player managed to grind their way to world tier 1000 and streamed the whole 14 day process to amazed viewers.
IsomniaVirus is no stranger to completing impressive feats such as reaching round 351 in Season 1 and topping it off by making it to round 476 in Season 2, however these numbers don’t even come close to what they have managed to achieve by reaching round 1000 in Season 3.

Throughout the stream, InsomniaVirus took on each round on a one by one basis instead of taking advantage of Outbreak’s new level skip feature. Viewers were blown away by the players incredible dedication to the game and skills, with some of the mode’s objective being completed in a swift 4 minutes.
Overall, they managed to complete the task in 100 hours which they broke up into streams over a 14 day period.
InsomniaVirus completely beat round 1000 to see if the rounds would continue to accelerate which it did and could be seen as round 1001 in the corner of the streamers screen.
Fans were blown away by IsomniaVirus’ efforts with many taking to social media to congratulate them and share his victory.
He has managed to set this amazing record while playing Zombies Outbreak, we are sure many others will try to take on the challenge, but just how many will make it all the way?
