Since Black Ops Cold War’s latest update, players have been reporting that their weapon camo progress has been reset.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is no stranger to bugs and glitches popping up in the game and it seems that the latest update has brought yet another bug to the table and its leaving players less than impressed.
Black Ops Cold War has made a number of amendments to Zombies mode, especially focussing on progression and unlocks.
Players are able to unlock a number of Zombie mode weapon camos in Warzone by completing specific challenges.
Of course, these challenges can take a considerable amount of time to complete resulting in players grinding it out for hours to unlock these camos.
Now, it seems a bug has completely reset players progress in these challenges and locked skins they have previously already unlocked.
Reddit user ‘noeltorious’ took to the platform with a clip of said bug, the post read “Latest game settings update resets camo progress”.
Not only this but some players have found this bug has affected their ultra rare skins such as Dark Aether and Pink Diamond.
In the clip uploaded to Reddit, the player can be seen completing a challenge with the hopes of unlocking a camo however after updating they are unable to do so.
Other players have reported their progress being wiped on field upgrades weapon classes and perks too.
Activision and Treyarch are yet to address this issue, it looks like fans will have to hope there will be a fix in the works for this issue sooner rather than later.
