Cold War Players Disappointed With ‘Impossible’ Outbreak Trials

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiJune 4, 2021

Fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have spoke out about their concerns with a specific trial that is near impossible for players to complete in Outbreak.

Zombies is a popular game mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, with several game variants to pick from, including Outbreak. Fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may play the game mode to unlock specific in-game rewards while battling the zombie virus.

Despite the fact that the most of the tasks in Outbreak are well thought out and balanced, fans are dissatisfied with one in particular, which requires a certain configuration to achieve.

Players may enjoy all of the normal Zombies possibilities coupled with hard obstacles in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak game mode. These trials cost in-game credits to complete and take a certain amount of time.

Normally, this isn’t an issue although lately one trial in particular has sparked controversy in the community since it is practically hard to accomplish in the middle of the game therefore leaving players with the annoying task of waiting through its full duration.

This trial has swiftly earned a reputation for being one of the worst challenges in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies. Trials can range from killing foes with certain weapons to provoking particular encounters, but this one is different.

The challenge in question is the “Kill Zombies That Are Unaware of Any Player’s Presence” trial, players have even started taking to social media to express their feelings about the trial.

Reddit user “younguncie” took to the platform to share a meme to express their feelings on the mission. To make matters worse, players have no say in which trials are unlocked or in which order, and it costs points in order to participate in any of these tasks.

The post read “This trial STINKS”.

Many players try to avoid this challenge if possible due to its strict requirements before the game and its increasing difficulty. To avoid being aware of a player’s presence, players must be able to kill zombies in a single shot which is not always the easiest.

If they are unable to take out the zombies in a single shot they will soon realise they are there, the best way to achieve this will be use tomahawks and other quick-kill weapons.

Fans are opting out of the trial in general which they hope will lead to the games develeopers taking action and making some amendments to the challenges. In the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
