A new job listing from EA has revealed that Codemasters is looking to hire a producer for its next huge project.
Codemasters are behind some of the biggest racing game franchises we’ve ever seen, such as Grid, Dirt and the F1 series.
The job listing in question calls for a development manger to take on the role at Codemasters Cheshire.
Along with sharing details of the job, the vacancy also hints at how huge the project will be as it is referred to as “the studios’ next key project”.
“Codemasters Cheshire are currently looking for a Producer to join the team as they look ahead to their next project having delivered Dirt 5, the racing experience, that welcomed in the next generation of consoles.”

“Under the guidance of the Development Director and with support from the production team, you will help handle production of the studios’ next key project”.
The listing follows up by saying this this upcoming game “promises to be the most ambitious and biggest game that Codemasters has made in over a decade”.
The chosen candidate will need to “deliver AAA racing games”, although there is no further information on what game this may be.
This process will take place from a UK studio, but we could be waiting quite some time before we see an official announcement take place.
However, along with this listing, there are also a little over 30 available positions in its UK office alongside some positions in Malaysia.
So, it may be a while before we find out anymore details on this upcoming title, but there is no denying that it sounds like its going to be incredible.
