The game is available to download a preload today, which was also announced by Treyarch earlier in the week. You will able to access this preload at 4pm UK time, 5pm Europe, 11am EDT and 8am PDT.

The games official release will be 6pm UK time on September 18th. Players will need roughly 25GB to be able to store the game on their consoles.

The PS5 showcase event gave an insight into the first level of the game, in which the CIA operatives arrive in Turkey and recieve information that a hostage is fleeing the country.

The game will even more intense that previous versions, teamed with the brand new high spec PS5. The controllers are wireless and are programmed to give haptic feedback giving you the immense feeling of explosions right in your hands.

The experience of game play also been magnified through the epic audio system, which allows you to hear all of the action from all angles using the Tempest 3D AudioTech.

It was also revealed that Playstation 4 owners are able to get a sample of the game through an exclusive Alpha free testing event.

This will include all of the classic CoD 6v6 modes, and also the Combined Arms Domination mode which has been revamped along with a taster of the Scorestreak systems.

However unfortunatley there is no test coming for Xbox or PC as of yet, gamers will have to wait it out until the Beta version to get their hands on it.
