Call of Duty Zombie fans will be pleased to know that the developers have been hard at work with a brand new DLC pack, Chronicles 2.
Well known leaker Tom Henderson has claimed that Chronicles 2 has been in the works for a good few years and the remastering process has worked through most of the included maps.
In a post on DualShockers he has reassured players that Treyarch will not be releasing the new Chronicles pack until there is a genuine need to do so.
Black Ops Cold War has gone from strength to strength and it looks as if it has no intention of slowing down anytime soon, given the success that the title has already seen it may be that we still have to wait a while to see Chronicles 2.
However, Tom Henderson has some idea as to when we may finally see this pack launch.
Henderson has suggested that the Chronicles 2 DLC will be released with this years Call of Duty title, Vanguard.
This years title is said to be set in World War 2, so there is always the chance that the Chronicles may feature a more modern take for those fans that miss that element of the game.
Henderson said “Despite the murmuring, Vanguard will inevitably sell millions of copies and will almost certainly outsell Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042″.
He went on to say “However, Activision’s goal is to not only sell copies but to keep those players engaged and to keep on spending. That’s why Zombies Chronicles 2 is likely to release sometime in mid-2022.”
Of course we can’t know for certain exactly when we will see the pack release but we’re sure fans will be excited to experience some blasts from the past.
