The World War II themed title is due to launch November 5 which is only two short months away.
As we draw closer to Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release, fans are getting excited to get a slice of the action in the games beta.
The beta for Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available across all platforms, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC and will be open to any players who want to give it a try.
The open beta will take place between September 18 through to 20, although players who pre-order and use PlayStation will be able to gain even earlier access to the game.
The first weekend of the beta will only be open to PlayStation users who have pre-ordered and will run from September 10 through to 14, for those PlayStation users who have not pre-ordered, they will be able to get early access from September 16.
The beta arrives following an event where PlayStation users were granted access to a limited alpha for Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Champion Hill multiplayer mode.
The upcoming beta is set to include a lot more than what was seen in the alpha, players will be able to try out Domination, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed however Search and Destroy will only be accessible from September 16 through to 20.
Champion Hill consists of a squads battling it out in smaller maps until there is only one squad left surviving, between each round of the tournament, players have the ability to purchase different weapons and items with money gained from their performance so far.
Another mode that will be making its debut in Vanguard is Patrol, in this mode players will be battle it out in order to control specific areas of the game and collect points.
In this mode, the are will constantly be changing and moving around in the map which means players will have to quickly make changes in order to successfully follow it around.
Maps that will be included in the beta will be Hotel Royale, Champion Hill, Gavutu, Red Star, there will also be access to Eagle’s Nest becoming available from September 16 to 20.
The beta will give players a good look at what they can expect when the game is finally released, in terms of weaponry, players will be able to upgrade their guns up to level 30.
