It seems that FOV sliders may be arriving in Call of Duty: Vanguard and therefor also Call of Duty: Warzone.
FOV sliders have always been a hot topic with the community as the feature gives players the ability to expand their field of vision in order to take in a lot more action that is taking place around them.
Players who use PC are able to expand their FOV to 120 whereas console players using PS4 and Xbox One are stuck with only 80.
This means that PC players have a bigger advantage when it comes to playing, although Warzone players on console have the option to remove crossplay altogether which eliminates this issue.
Now, it seems that Call of Duty: Vanguard could be getting a FOV slider when it launches later this year in November.
Well known leaker Tom Henderson took to Twitter to share the news, the post read “Sledgehammer Games has confirmed a FOV slider for console #Vanguard”.
Sledgehammer Games revealed a teaser image which featured the PlayStation button inputs, and while Warzone players may feel disappointed, it’s not all bad news and the games with be integrated.
There is also going to be a shiny new anti-cheat system put in place too in a bid to tackle the ongoing hacking issues, hopefully this will crack right down on cheaters running riot in the game.
New Warzone map, Pacific will launch for PC with the brand-new anti cheat system as it is currently getting put through its paces in its final stages of testing.
“The Pacific map will feature an entirely new island play-space built from the ground up, complete with all new points of interest. Ready to traverse the lush landscapes, rocky crags, and other as-yet-unrevealed areas all contained within this expansive island?”
“Visually, Warzone’s Pacific map will be a change of pace from the war-torn environment of Verdansk to something that is more vibrant and alive… and something with plenty of secrets hidden within its beauty. There are also plans for continuous and fresh experiences throughout your time in the Pacific”
“The island is roughly the size of Verdansk and built based on learnings from the community over nearly two years. The result is a fun and incredibly compelling gameplay space with numerous points of interest to explore and an exceptional depth of combat potential.”
Could this mean that Vanguard and Warzone will also feature this option?
We already know that the new Warzone map will be launched alongside Vanguard as it has been previously confirmed by Activision.
Either way, we don’t have too much longer to wait, but in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
