Call of Duty Mobile Dev Reveals Iconic Map Coming Soon Following Fan Complaints

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiMay 19, 2022

The latest seasonal updates to hit Call of Duty Mobile have brought a series of maps from some of the most recent titles in the franchise to the game, however this hasn’t gone down too well with fans.

As each seasonal update hits COD Mobile, fans are in store for a host of new content to the hit the game from new maps, weapons and more.

The game launched already boasting a number of maps from some of the most popular games in the series, with many updates following which have added even more content from existing games.

Just this year, we have seen six brand new maps added to CoD Mobile, most of which have came from Black Ops Cold War, Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare 2019.

This has left fans less than impressed, with many calling out for more iconic maps to make an appearance in the game, it didn’t take long for fans to head to Reddit in a bid to catch the devs attention.

Reddit user ‘Substantial-Ad-7376’ took to the platform with a post sharing their concerns on the matter, the post read “Cod mobile stop adding shitty maps from BO4, MW19 & Cold war. And add these maps for the next couple of seasons. (Rush is a very good map in black ops serious, I pick the cold war version and so is the castle)”.

The devs actually responded directly the post saying “We can confirm we have one older map coming relatively soon,” devs announced. “It is from a CoD title that is over 10 years old at this point. We’ll definitely share more once we get closer to that season.”

Of course, this is a very vague message but it goes lead fans to believe they will see a map from Modern Warfare 3 or previous.
