Gamers who subscribe to PS Plus can now get their hands on a free Combat Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, here is how.
Through Sony’s marketing deal with Activision, Playstation users have been able to reap lots of different benefits and exclusive deals including the latest free Combat Pack. The deal between Sony and Activision, otherwise known as the “Playstation Advantage’ has kept Playstation users busy with heaps of new Call of Duty Content.
New content has been available to Playstation users since Modern War and it seems that Sony have no intention of slowing down any time soon as they continue to offer lots more throughout Black Ops Cold War such as free bundles, tier skips, weapon XP and along with gaining access to the Zombies Onslaught mode and much more.
Playstation Plus subscribers now have exclusive access to the free Combat Pack that features a new operator skin, new blueprints and lots more. The pack will be available for players to grab right through until Season 2 comes to a close and includes heaps of goodies to keep players occupied.
Inside the pack players will be able to find:
- Tactical knife blueprint
- Tiger claw blueprint for a tactical rifle,
- Blueprint for the Pace Breaker pistol,
- Epic weapon charm,
- 60 minute double XP token
- Epic operator skin for Baker
This will only be available for Playstation users, although PS fans have enjoyed this exclusive content the partnership has come under fire from other players. They claim that this partnership excludes PC and Xbox players, although the main concerns started to arise after the release of Black Ops Cold War.
Some have even gone as far to say that is actually making the game unfair by giving PS users and advantage with special weapons and perks. Given that the title is a cross-platform game, PC and Xbox users feel that PS users have an unfair advantage in the game.
However, although there has been many complaints regarding this there doesn’t seem to be any signs that the partnership will come to an end any time soon.
