The Microsoft store recently leaked some information about Call of Duty: 2020, including the massive file size. Some Xbox users have even been able to boot up an Alpha for the game on their consoles, revealing the title for the unannounced game.
The game, titled ‘The Red Door’ was boot-able and showed the title for the new Call of Duty game as Call of Duty: Black Ops CIA. The game was rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Vietnam, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. With the new discovery, the title of the game is now uncertain, with lots of information coming from different sources each hinting at a different title.
Players were only able to get to the start-up splash screen when launching the alpha. The start up screen only shows the name ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ without the CIA bit added onto the end, causing confusion.
Usually the new Call of Duty game has been announced by this time of year. Fans have two theories about how the next game will be announced, one being an in-game event in Warzone the other being a plain old announcement which could be as early as Thursday.
