A recent dive into the LinkedIn profile of Jon Young, a former Rockstar Games stalwart with 13 years under his belt, has fans scratching their heads and asking: Where are “Bully 2” and “Bully 3”?
Jon Young, once the lead video editor for Rockstar’s research department, has certainly seen a multitude of projects come to life. It was on his professional LinkedIn page that eagle-eyed Reddit users unearthed mentions of both “Bully 2” and “Bully 3.” With no prior whispers of a “Bully 3” even in the rumour mill, this discovery has caused quite the stir.
Long-standing fans of the franchise will recall the seemingly endless rumours about “Bully 2” – a game that has been in and out of development conversations so many times, it feels like a roller-coaster of hope and despair. But the revelation about “Bully 3” is entirely uncharted territory. Given the lack of any previous hints or leaks regarding this title, questions arise: Was it a mere typo, or was there an undisclosed project we knew nothing about?

Industry insiders have previously trickled down information, suggesting “Bully 2” might have been benched in favour of the mammoth success that is “Red Dead Redemption.” If this holds true, it’s not a far reach to think “Bully 3” could have met the same fate. Young’s role, largely cantered around research, adds weight to the theory that these titles might have been ideated and conceptualized, but perhaps “Bully 2” was the only one that flirted with the production line.
With GTA 6’s decade-long development cycle, it’s reasonable to think Rockstar might have had its plate full, leaving little room for “Bully” to thrive.
However, all this remains in the realm of speculation. Rockstar Games, known for its tight-lipped approach, has yet to shed light on these findings. As fans and gamers around the world hold their collective breath, the hope remains: Perhaps, just maybe, “Bully 2” will break free from the chains of rumour and see the light of day as a bonafide release. Only time, and hopefully a statement from Rockstar Games, will tell.
