It has been revealed by Activision news that has rocked the gaming community. They have dropped the news that the co-operative Zombie Onslaught mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to be exclusive to PlayStation users.
The Zombies Onslaught mode was released in addition to the recent drop of the main Zombies storyline in the game, which will still be released across all gaming platforms.
Players are limited in game to a designated ‘orb’ area where the zombies will start approaching in their masses. The game starts to progress when a significant amount of Zombies have been taken out, players will then be transported into another ‘orb’ area where the game becomes increasingly more difficult.
As players progress through the game, the zombies pick up speed and agility giving players an added challenge. The game is fast paced and allows players to play in areas of Cold Wars many fan favourite multiplayer maps.
Players must try their best to stay alive for as long as possible if they want to have the chance to complete this mode, which will then allow them to reap certain rewards in the game. As players gather points from their Elites kills they are awarded specific rankings from bronze to gold which allows them to claim further rewards.
The news that has now caused ructions in the gaming community that Onslaught Mode will be exclusive to PS4 and PS5 for a whole year, meaning gamers who use other platforms won’t be able to access it.

The news comes after Activision teamed up with Sony to make the decision, however they are yet to make any direct comments on the exclusivity to Playstation for 12 months at this present time.
